As women, I have noticed that it is hard for us to receive - to recieve a compliment or a free lunch from a friend. Here’s an example: I offered to buy lunch for a friend and she said, “I can’t let you do that.” My reply, “tell my one good reason why not.” She couldn’t think of one.
Is it hard for you to receive? Why or why not?
Your challenge today is to practice receiving.
When you ‘receive,’ you are actually accepting a gift from the other person. You are also accepting that you are worthy of receiving the gift. It feels good to give, so you must be willing to receive. A heartfelt thank you is a beautiful way to acknowledge receipt of the gift.
I’ll see you tomorrow!
