The Conference Board says only 45 percent of Americans say they're satisfied with their work. I thinkk that is sad. We spend at least 1/3 of our day at work, so if we are not happy at work, we are not happy for 1/3 of our lives! Are you satisfied with your work?
You challenge is to assess your level of job satisfaction on a scale of 1-5 (5=highly satisfied). Here are a few areas to consider in your assessment:
- level of teamwork
- communication
- quality and customer focus
- mission & purpose
- growth opportunities
- work/life balance
- compensation
- respect for employees
- personal expression
